There are many inappropriate interpretations of the difficult words in Huizhou contract documents in academic circles. Take the Examination on Collection of Chinese Contract Documents in Different Dynasties(中国历 代契约汇编考释) as an example, we select some misinterpreted words, such as Xunjian (巡检), Ylingzu (硬租), Qianhuan (倩唤), Juehu (绝户), Lingzha (领札), Shengke (升科), Yinshe (隐射), Gongshou (弓受), Xingji (信鸡), and so on to make new textual examinations so that reasonable interpretations of like words can be derived.
