Abstract:Migrant minority people in present China are leaving their native places for cities, and though their labor is recognized by cities as a major force for development and is put in the "central" of cities, they are treated unequally and unfairly in traditional mind, interest distribution, gender division of labor and demand because of social ethnic and gender factors, so they're actually wandering at the "marginal" of cities. From the perspective of social gender, this paper tries to find the intrinsic rule and dynamics for ethnic minority people's choice of rural-urban migration, thereby restore the social gender logic behind the migration of marginalized ethnic minority people in urban centers, and provide lessons and ideas for setting up a social pattern for ethnic communication and integration.
